The Mason

On the corner of Wentworth and King Streets in the historic district of Charleston you’ll find one of the city’s more impressive buildings. Eighteen-foot ceilings and fourteen-foot windows are the hallmarks of this neglected gem. In the late 1800s it was a Masonic lodge; with the new plans it will hold eighteen well-appointed lofts—and will serve as a model for smart, sustainable redevelopment.
